Many thanks to @Lilys_Toys over on Instagram once more for updating us with some images they've found of the new Equestria Girls Fashion Squad Minty & Pinkie Pie set and the Potion Princess Cadance set! It's been known for a while that Pinkie & minty were going to have a 2-pack however, this is the first time we're seeing images of it!
Princess Cadance was revealed earlier at Toy Fair this year. The Princess Cadance set is titled "Crystal Festival" and features a pony and EG counterpart of the character, both reusing Pony Life Celestia and EG Fluttershy molds. For more images on that set, keep reading!

I've started to notice a trend where the MLP blind packs get converted to plastic packaging for marketing in Asian countries, between cutie mark crew ditching the balloon packaging, and now the Potion Life blind packs ditching the clear plastic.
Unlike before, the ponies will now come in a harder plastic, red packaging, which even includes its own little cap to maintain closed. I am unsure if this style of packaging is safer than the last, however I don't see much point in keeping these packages any more so than the original. Quite an interesting find, and I will keep you updated if I can find anymore in the near future. Designer Elizabeth Wong from Melbourne Australia has uploaded to her portfolio a collection of concept art for some upcoming My Little Pony; Pony Life plush produced by Maxx Marketing. According to their website, Maxx Marketing is "a global licensing and product solutions agency serving some of the world's most recognizable brands." The plush are officially licensed by Hasbro, as stated on Wong's portfolio, and will come in both 4" keychain and 10" sitting forms.
You can get more images of the concept art after the break. Back in 2018, designer Kay Chan uploaded to his Bēhance, a portfolio website created by Adobe, an endcap display, featuring his work and design. The endcap was designed specifically for upcoming Kreo products, which are kind of like a budget version of Legos, featuring the brands: DreamWorks Trolls and My Little Pony. This however is a bit unusual since there were never any Kreo My Little Pony sets ever released. It's been 2 years, so the likeliness of it having been an upcoming set has worn off. Perhaps Hasbro had to choose between these and the officially released K'NEX sets, and unfortunately chose the lesser superior option. In the prototype picture provided, we can see an Applejack Pie Stand Kreo set. It's very interesting to see cancelled projects like this one, and it's a shame that this project was never brought to life, considering the My Little Pony fandom always desired Lego type pony sets. As we know, up to now, the sixth series of Cutie Mark Crew figures will be released in both capsule, and balloon packaging styles, as shown above. The figures were first revealed on the official My Little Pony website, or so we thought. It was obvious to see that those figures were indeed prototypes, and would ultimately differ from their final releases. Since that last update, news has been pretty scarce about the wave, now headed into mid 2020. Our first update in months come a few weeks back when the Photo Finish figure's stock images were found, and since then, we've now found even more stock images of the packaging and some of the final releases for the figures! Get those stock images down below!
A few months back, we discovered a listing on Toy Wiz for an Equestria Girls Fashion Squad 7-pack, which was quickly removed, but ultimately photos of the set ended up appearing on Taobao a few weeks later. Until now, there was no real confirmation of whether the set shown in the photos was going to be that announced 7-pack, especially being that the figures featured their original eyes and accessories, unlike the pony life treatment the line has been receiving this year.
However, EntertainmentEarth has now publicly listed the set with the final stock images, further confirming that the set found on Taobao is indeed the 7-pack that was announced. You can find the listing down below! An Australian chain of discount stores known as Big W has released their very own exclusive, limited edition Rainbow Dash plush! The cloth used for her coat is covered in specks of glitter, her mane has strands of tinsel, she features iridescent wings, and she smells like blue berries.
She stands about 10-13" tall, and even features her own certificate of authenticity, something common with limited edition releases from brands. As stated, she is an Australian retail chain exclusive, so she is only available over in Australia. However, if you are still interested in visiting the listing, I have all the information after the break! A My Little Pony Toy line would not be complete without the seemingly anually released Sweet Style Pinkie Pie pony being re-released all over again! Five Below has recently listed this new variant of the Sweet Style Pinkie Pie pony. We've seen multiple variants of her throughout the years, ranging from different scales, proportions, and characters. This one however, being a budget release, does have various differences to her predecessors too. You can find all that information and the listing below the break!
In 2018 Hasbro released their My Little Pony; School of Friendship toy line, to correspond with the events of the eighth season of the hit TV show. With over 30+ new characters, all varying in specie and gender being introduced, and this idea of exploring different lands previously unknown to ponydom, collectors saw so much potential in the line and expected a successful outcome.
Unfortunately, only a few sets actually relating to the events of the show were released, and as for the rest, Hasbro only saw the opportunity to repackage any mane 6 toys they'd had left from the year beforehand, the My Little Pony movie. Many fans were left disappointed, deeming it one of the worst toy lines in MLP history, due to it's lack of variety, since over 90% of the line consisted of mane six toys, ALL repackaged with little to no changes from their prior release. People expected a lot better from the store exclusives, as they normally are the best themed and best MLP toys each year, however that ended up being a shame as well, except for Walmart. Walmart stuck with the entire "School of Friendship" theme and in fact did it much better than even the main line did. They even changed up the figures by not only giving them school uniforms and accessories, but also introduced the first baby pony sculpts for the reboot! So I began thinking, with how well-done Walmart's line was, what would the main line had been like if it had followed this same concept, and also stayed within the borders of the events of season 8? This is how I imagine it could've all gone down. A few months back, multiple listings popped up on Taobao for the series 5 Cutie Mark Crew blind packs alternatively being released in the blind capsules we were most familiar with in series' 1 and 2, as oppose to the balloon packaging of the most recent waves. Although the waves are continuously being released in the balloon blind packs, it appears that series 6 will similarly to series 5 also be released in the blind capsules as well. Get more information after the break.
